The Cutting Edge series from Pearson Education is a general English training system for adults. Each level consists of a thorough grammar syllabus, plenty of vocabulary work and engaging speaking tasks. Additional module worksheets from Pearson are included here as well as Teachers Network developed Vocabulary Worksheets (for levels above Starter).Side by Side
The Side by Side series is a set of four levels of English instruction for early to intermediate learners. While the books are organized by grammar, it is taught through usage and repetition rather than having to learn a series of rules. This series is an excellent choice for natural learning of grammar and conversational English however is not strong on vocabulary and word building. Teachers Network has put together additional Vocabulary Worksheets to supplement these books which can be found here.
