Monkeys are a kind of animal. Some monkeys are cute and some are ferocious. Some are small and some are huge. My favourite monkey is the smallest one in the world ─ Marmosets.
Do you know marmosets? Marmosets are one of about 250 different kinds of monkeys. Some live in the Amazon primeval forest in America.
Marmosets are 10-12cm high and 80-100g in weight. They have large brains, long tails and hands, and eyes that look forward. Marmoset’s feet that can grasp tree branches. Their face colour changes when the sun shines is on their face.
Marmosets eat fruits, seeds and flowers. They also eat insects, bird’s egg and spiders.
